The course deals with both PRESET and INSET ideas and is a mixture of direct input, seminars, observation and interactive task-based work. This is a 50-hour course over a 2-week period with 5 hours every weekday.
The main objectives of the programme are to:
develop current training theories and practice
exchange and discuss ideas and techniques within a guided framework
provide a flexible balance of core and needs-related topics
provide guided observation of experienced trainers
Entry requirements
Applicants must have a good academic background, a minimum of 2 years English language teaching at a wide range of levels and a minimum age of 21.
Minimum level of English required: Cambridge Proficiency Certificate (CPE)
